A simple grilled cheese sandwich. Two kinds of cheese, medium

I have to thank Joan again for reminding me about the Hambeens
(brand) 15 bean dried soup mix. I bought another bag of it and
have a pound of diced smoked ham. I'll be making another pot of
that in the crock pot tomorrow. It was great the last time I made
it so I have no doubt it will be just as good this time. And yes,
I'll be baking a skillet of cornbread to go with it. :)

Dinner tonight is chicken salad with last of the rotisserie chicken.,
done on toast (finally got motivated to make more bread). Sided to it
is a quick vegetarian soup which will keep in the crockpot or if we
lose power, in a dutch oven by the fireplace. Don calls this one 'snow
soup'.
28oz can diced tomatoes
16oz can crushed tomatoes
1 can white corn
1 can black beans
1 can mixed vegetables
32oz vegetable broth (last of my batch)
1/2 tsp Peruvian Chile Lime seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
No cans are drained or rinsed but all are low or no salt added.
Alternative version is to use Thyme and Basil instead of the Chile Lime
blend.
