I do give Trump credit for his ability
to gather followers that believe
anything he tells them.
Even better than that, he does it by telling
them outright lies. People eat it up.
Not outright lies; see below.
Everyone & his dog believes they have a 100%
accurate 'bullshit detector'. The problem is,
despite that dogs cannot understand language
syntax, their perception of veracity only by
tones, overtones, and yes, undertones is
much more accurate than any human.
King Donald has a combination of:
- Large resonant empty space in his skull.
- New York sneer.
- Self-assurance enhanced by ill-gotten wealth.
- lazy situational awareness.
- pig-headed stupidity.
Also a lot of his judgement is done by
'gut feeling' due to his general dimness
which is out of kilter due to all the
cocaine he did when he hung out with
Epstein & Prince Andrew. (This is also the
cause of his well-documented shit-leaking.)
When someone asks his a question, most
of the time he does not know the answer.
But he cannot admit that due to other
personality flaws.
So he thinks about it for a few seconds
and uses his flawed gut feelings to choose
between the first few 'free associations'
that emerge into what passes for concious
thought. And because his estimate of his
own intelligence is extremely exaggerated,
he actually believes it to be true.
Thus, what he says are technically not lies.
This is why, as he says, "he does well with
the uneducated". They also lack the proper
context for making rational judgements, but
like puppies listening to their master,
they are happy to believe anything just
because it sounds authoritative & confident.
