 Same here.  I'd not touch it for years until I learned it is good raw in a salad and lightly cooked in butter with garlic.

I don't care for it raw but if it is wilted in hot olive oil browned slivers of garlic it's delicious!  And I use frozen leaf spinach in quiches and other dishes such as the ground lamb recipe I posted recently.
I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about what someone else might want to eat if I want to cook something with spinach.
