I see the omnipresent empty carbs, but to my surprise I also see a
vegetable, possibly cabbage. Does eating a vegetable make you an
outcast in Hawaii?

I had custard tarts for the first time, that I remember, a week ago. I
needed a quick snack to get me through a day away from home. They were
nothing to write home about, but it was a supermarket version, so I
wasn't expecting much.
