Re: Costco croissants

I think I posted a while back about about really disappointing
croissants that I bought at two different local store, and both were
done in their in store bakery. Then I tried Costco's fresh baked
croissants. They were a lot cheaper and a heck of a lot better than the
local grocery store's product.  On my last trip to Costco I bought a box
of frozen ready to cook croissants. I tried them this morning and they
were terrific. They take up a lot less room in the freezer and you don't
have to hurry as much to use them up. They are easy to cook. Take them
hour 20-30 minutes before cooking and toss them into a 350 oven for 25
minutes. I am not saying you are going to imagine yourself at a Parisian
cafe, but they are about the best croissants I have had around here in
years.
