We bought our first microwave about the mid 1980s. Nifty cooking
machine, great for veggies and, of course, reheating leftovers.

About a year ago, I bought an air fryer. I hesitated, not know if I'd
really use it and like it. Turns out, I use it a couple of times a
week, including reheating.

We held off on getting an air fryer because I thought we wouldn't use it
much. It ended up staying out on the counter because we used it 3-4
times a week. We bought one for our son for Christmas. I got the
Cuisinart model that my friend liked. He loves it and uses it almost
every day. He told be we should get rid of our not so old one and get
the same on we bought for him.

The one I have is the basket type. Some look more like a toaster oven.
I don't know which is better but unless mine breaks, it works for me so
no reason to change.
I used to have one of those air fryers. Those things are somewhat too
loud but I cooked a lot of fish with them. I went to bigger models
because I wanted more. I sure got more, alright.
