Eggs are $3.50- $4 in grocery stores around here. My wife gets them from our neighbour and pays $7. They are fresh and free range and she prefers them. I am fine with the cheaper ones. Our neighbour even delivers them. Every Friday morning she leaves a dozen eggs on our doorstep. What the hell does one do with sixty eggs plus ten that we already had?>
Ain't egg panics great?
Eggs last three to five weeks. Or you can freeze them (details
available on the web).

I'm not panicked. Sure, paying $5.89 for a dozen eggs made me
raise my eyebrows last week. Those were the slightly fancy
"Eggland's Best" eggs, the taste of which my husband prefers.
I could have got regular eggs for $5.59. These are size large,
which is satisfactory for our uses.
