 It's their freedom to conduct business as they wish.  It's your
freedom to shop elsewhere.  It's other people's freedom to take
advantage of the savings that loyalty cards afford.
 

Obviously we are not going to agree about this.  I don't see how having a loyalty card (or phone app) saves me anything since they can obviously sell the exact same product for the same "sale" price as other places that don't require a card.
