It would have been meatless expect that I chopped up a couple strips of bacon that fried slowly along with some chopped onion.  I boiled the perogies until they floated and then added to the pan with the bacon and onion and I added a bit of butter.
This is the first time in a long  time we have had perogies and the first time they have been served on their own. We agreed we should do it more often.
My grandparents loved and owned a business in this area.  The Dinner House is only a few blocks on the same street.  All of these look good and if I get back to Philly, I'll try one of them.  They all look very good. Like my grandmother used to make
