Re: Almost meatless supper

A  couple weeks ago I went to a Ukrainian church in a nearby city to
pick up some perogies because my friends (Ukrainian) wife said they are
the best around.  We had some for supper tonight. It would have been
meatless expect that I chopped up a couple strips of bacon that fried
slowly along with some chopped onion.  I boiled the perogies until they
floated and then added to the pan with the bacon and onion and I added a
bit of butter.
This is the first time in a long  time we have had perogies and the
first time they have been served on their own. We agreed we should do it
more often.
