i.e. I could be dead by then. A few months in advance would be wildly
optimistic. Well, either that or I have a really short attention span.
That would explain a lot.
i don't like being in crowded restaurants. whether it's just my
wife and i or whether it's a group, we make it a point to arrive
early before busy hours. for a group reservations are always made
at least a day in advance. we're usually done and leaving by the
time the restaurants fill up. the food and service is always much
better early too, as the staff isn't worn down yet. but if i'm ever
asked for anything more than my name for a reservation, there's
always a good someplace else to go.
