away even when their windows are closed. They are very likely not to
hear the sirens of emergency vehicles. Or trains, for that matter, if
it's an unguarded train crossing in a fairly rural area.
Our new car is fully computerized, with a decent sized screen. The old
adage of "Pay attention to the Road!", seems to be receding into the
sands of time, unmourned and unloved by current philosophy.
That's a mistake that Darwin will slowly rectify over time. Be safe out
there! I may attempt to pass you while futzing with my newfangled car. :(
