Should not be weaving back and forth. Never had that with either my Genesis or Hyundai. In addition to the LKA, my car has a drive assist that works on highways. For a short hop 10 miles up the road, not a big deal, but on the occasional long trip I can drive an additional 200 miles and not be tired.
I recently rented a Hyundai and it had a keeping in lane function.
I wasn't aware of it and thought that the steering was a bit loose.
As soon as the car drifted towards one of the lane marker lines, I
could feel it being nudged back towards the centre. It was most
disconcerting.
