don't North Americans eat Fred Flintstone steaks? (With green
beans, ranch and a side of corn?)

I don't think I've consumed any corn, with the
exception of the tortilla chips I had last night,
in several weeks. I made vegetable beef soup
many weeks ago, and that's been it for me.

way of referring to tomahawk ribeyes? (Never had one, BTW.)We had one a couple years ago. My wife came home with it. I cooked it with a reverse sear and it was delicious. It was way too much for the two of us.
I can'tremember the last time I had green beans,I had green beans with my supper tonight. I like them and there is no reason to be embarrassed about that. I grew up with green beans fresh picked from the garden. I don't get them that fresh anymore but they left a positive impression on me.
don't use ranch seasoning or salad dressing, and the only corn I've had recently was cornbread.I have no objection to ranch dressing. A freshly made one is pretty darned good. With just two of us here and my wife not caring for it it's not going to happen. I have 2 or 3 cobs of corn each summer,,, grilled in the BBQ and I might have frozen corn 2-3 times over the rest of the year.
