Is it woke if I don't care what color actress plays Snow White in

Nope. Not if you are happy with a remake of Roots with a white Kunte Kinte.
I don't think I'd be happy with any remake of Roots. I also didn't
need remakes of The Magnificent Seven, War of the Worlds, or The
Longest Yard. Or practically any other remake that Hollywood has
seen fit to foist on us. I'm grateful Casablanca seems to be off
limits nowadays.

I tend to avoid remakes. There aren't many that have been an improvement
on the original. I liked the original Total Recall. The remake was
horrible. That being said, the most recent remake of All Quiet on the
Western Front was great.
wasn't necessary. I would have preferred to see the cast in
something original. Same thing for the recent remake of
3:10 to Yuma.
Those whippersnappers should just learn to love black-and-white
cinematography.
