Row house is such a mundane term. They are now often call a Town House, much classier and you can raise the price of it that way.
My first house was a row house in Philadelphia. 70% of the hgouese in the city are row homes.
A step up is a twin home. Two joined with a common wall but some space between.
This is my first house, bought in 1966. It is the one behind the tree.
