Speaking of sniffing canisters, I have a follow-up to
my report on Tonka beans, but I lost the original post
so I will put it here.
After reading on the web, I decided not to perform an
oil extraction with ethanol despite that it is supposed to
very easy and efficient. But the resulting extract would
have enough toxin to kill someone if a vagrant / adolescent
visitor wanted some hooch real bad. I used a box-cutter to
to cut a few beans into 2 mm slices and loaded them into
one of these mills that delivers a dozen or so mg per stroke:
https://www.stokesstores.com/en/remy-olivier-salt-or-pepper-mill-6.htmlThose Tonka beans really do not need much more. I've been
putting them into everything. So much that I thought I was
skewing my odour receptors. I went into a hardware store
and as soon as I got inside, I smelled Tonka expremely strong
and followed it to what looked like a pile of vomit from
someone who had eaten different colours of sponge rubber.
So I asked what it was, and the store manager said it
was bear bait. It smelled so good, I almost bought some
but my wife was with me so I decided maybe next time.
