Sort-of-schnitzel - pounded-thin slices of pork loin, dredged in seasoned flour, dipped in egg, then coated with almond meal, rather than breadcrumbs.
Scalloped potatoes.
Steamed, buttered, ribbons of Savoy csbbsge.
Sounds good. The best schnitzel I've ever had was at a small german joint near an army base in kentucky. I think that little town had lots of german emigrants. It was mighty good vittles.
