  heheh, i weighed 2lbs 6oz...  without the invention of
incubators i'd not have made it.  was sick with pneumonia
and bronchitis for a few months.  got down below 2lbs for
a while.  docs didn't even think i was alive as they could
not hear my heartbeat and sent Mom home for the inevitable
miscarriage (i don't think any hospital would do that these
days).  so when i came out alive (but black due to lack of
oxygen) it was a surprise for everyone.

  i just heard today of a lady giving birth to twins with
both of them being over 8&1/2lbs...  yikes!
