Thanks.  Yes it is the first. We had been resigned to the idea we would
not have any.  In fact, our son and DiL had been vising my Sil and her
husband and DiL had told BIL that they thought that parenthood was out
for them. Our son is 47 and she is 44 and she thought the window had
closed. As it turned out, she was barely pregnant at the time she said that.

 
How can a woman be barely pregnant? I thought it was more a yes or no
kinda thing.

  Keep up with the times, Bruce. Nowadays pregnancy can be
detected even before  a missed period.
