I can't recall seeing imitation lobster.  I've seen imitation
crab  (aka krab) which is basically white fish, usually pollock,
ground into  a paste with some other stuff then pressed and
formed to look like it  came out of crab legs.  It's not
something I actually look for.

Yes, that's why I mentioned krab (and she keeps calling it "sticks"
in the recipe).  But hey, for all I know they make imitation lobster
in stick form, too.

They do.  It's not 'logical' since it's not a lobster shape.  The only
difference in the 'sticks' is the label on the packages and the
ingredients have some lobster in them.
