True. I had to have a criminal records check to be a
Cub Scout leader. But as they pointed out during the
'Woodsmaster' course later, that just proves we were
all clever enough not to be caught yet.

My Cub Scout leader, a "pillar of the community", was arrested for "pill
- pushing", e. g. selling amphetamines to teenagers...
The pack was then disbanded...
