 McDonalds prices have steadily increased since 2014, peaking in
2024. Two McD's in my area have shuttered. One in 2023, and one in
Summer 2024. The CEO blamed tarriff anxiety (press fueled) to their
decrease in sales during Q1. Quite laughable really. Luckily, the market
didn't buy it for one second.
 

Press fueled?  Tariffs are real and now in place.  We won't really see the results for a couple of months but most households will be spending an extra $2000 a year or more because of them.  I know people that have tightened up in anticipation.  I bought ahead on a few imported goods.
