I guess the material ages even if you don't drive much.
Age rot includes belts, hoses and anything else made of rubber or soft
plastic. For the last ten years, my vehicles mostly rot in the driveway.
My wife does drive the Subaru, but it's new. So do I, once a week to the
grocery store, 1/2 mile away. :)
