My guess is that if it's called "fish", it's better to not ask too many
questions. I thought the fish was pretty tasty. It's what the world
needs at the moment - a sustainable white fish.
Swai fish (also known as pangasius, basa, or iridescent shark) is
generally not considered a sustainable seafood choice, particularly
when it comes from large-scale industrial farms in Vietnam, where most
of it is produced.
It depends on what you consider sustainable. It sure sounds sustainable
to me.
