My great grandson, nearing 3 years old, was in the car with his parents. A car cut dad off and almost hit him. Dad, reactively, mumbled "what the FU*K" so, GGrandson repeated: "what the FU*K"
Quick thinking, they corrected and told him what dad said was "what the frog" Yeah, a lot of people say that!
It's a good thing to lie to young children. It helps them remember in their later years.
If you were SIMPLY honest with them, they wouldn't understand that.
