I had a Mazda rotary car and a VW Rabbit on the mainland. The rotary was anI was always curious about the Wankel engine but not curious enough to

supplied the gas the engine needed and an external combustion chamber to provide
extra combustion time for the exhaust gases. My car had two distributors. One
of them provided the retarded spark needed to provide the extra un-burnt fuel to
the reaction chamber on start up to get it red hot. The carb also mixed engine oil
with the gas to provide lubrication for the apex seals. That car was a real gass.
I had a lot of fun with that car.
