Scallops are great. I don't know anybody who finds them disgusting. I
bet she loved the salmon, but it's no doubt farmed. The more you know
about farmed salmon, the less you'll eat it. Ignorance is bliss.
You have to cook them properly. It is not difficult to turn them into
little rubber hunks.
I like sea scallops seared and just cooked through. Easy to overdo them.
The scallops were well done i.e., cooked correctly. I prefer them to be breaded
but you can't always get what you want.
