Is animation designer Peter Sander alive?

If so, he may be still in his late 70s.

He's also an animation director. My favorite was the 1974 "The Little
Mermaid" - with the original, sad ending. (Luckily, I DID see that when
it came out - and I'd already read the story, so I knew what to expect.)
