To be correct:
Likely Johannes‘ anti-americanism is different from Hitler‘s — the
reasons differ. So I can’t say it’s a continuation of Nazi-Germany‘s
antiamericanism — after Germany lost the war a different kind of
anti-americanism seems to have developed (but it was probably also still
fueled by what the Nazis thought of the USA; Like i would have to really
dig into this further to make a good point).
But I think it’s quite insane that he would defend a hitlerlike figure
like Ahmadinejad. I mean Johannes is obviously completely unaware (which
tells us that the Germans Never really bothered to teach their Children
about antisemitism (except for: Murdering Jews is bad (unless You’re a
Muslim or sth ;) )) or either really stupid - or just really an
antisemite which I don’t think his true wrt him; but whats true is that
he obviously didn’t Even think about Ahmadinejad being a hitlerlike
antisemite…
