Mahler 7 / Concertgebouw / Chailly (Decca)

This 2CD set (*) feels so new!
(And I still tend to think of Chailly as the new conductor of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.)
I bought it almost 30 years ago!
Time flies.
The time has come to concede that I like it, without any pedantic reservations.
This fine symphony is a joy to listen to and Chailly is an excellent conductor.
I now regret having culled his recordings of Mahler 1 and 5 from my collection twenty years ago. That was a mistake.
