Most obvious and best recommendations coincide in this case:
Casals-Szell 1937. With Feuermann-Taube (late 20s) and Fournier-Szell
1961 not too far away. Avoid Rostropovich-Karajan 1968, if you really
need Slava go for the Giulini 1977.
Du Pré and Celibidache in Stockholm 1967.
