Good Idea here from a comment:

And I say go for the Romantics, but *not* the
warhorses. The anti-Romantic movement should
be abandoned, as the damned avant guard or
pop music is not classical. Get rid of all
management and the entrenched marketing "experts"
that say things like:
"we have to play avant guard because other than
that we can only play the same handful of
symphonies over and over again!,
or
"we have to play pop music because otherwise
there are only warhorses and no other classical
music exists!"
etc.
