The smileys are definitely out of place. This
is a serious matter -- Herman or no Herman.
The Netherlands is the most anti-semitic Western
European country, more so than even Germany or
France.
More than 72% of Dutch Jews were killed during
WWII, thanks in no small measure to the local
Nazi sympathizers and collaborators who were
only to happy to denounce theire Dutch Jewish
co-nationals to the Nazis for financial rewards.
This is more than twice as high as the 33%
fraction of German Jewry killed during WWII.
It is also the highest percentage of Jewish
casualties in any Western country during WWII.

more details.
