I have no "perspective". I do not experience and/or
evaluate music based on any preconceived ideas or
belief systems. You appear to be incapable of even
cosidering the notion that other people's brains or
sensory organs are wired differently from yours --
and don't short circuit as often.
This is yet another example of a pedantic Teutonic
fixation with "understanding". One does not need to
"understand" things in order to experience and enjoy
them. Conversely, "understanding" things does not
make them any more enjoyable.
One can enjoy chocolate, dumplings, risotto, sushi,
port and scotch without "understanding" them. One
can also dislike beef, chicken, turkey, sea urchin
or געפֿילטע פֿיש without "understanding" them.
For me music is a sensory experience, not a thinking,
intellectual experience. Capisce?
