Pope Francis prays at the manger with Kuffiyeh

It is a clear political message that the Pope has sent out into the
world from the Vatican: Francis prayed on Sunday in front of a wooden
nativity scene in which the baby Jesus lies on a kuffiyeh, a so-called
Palestinian cloth. The scene was created by Palestinian artists from
Bethlehem in the West Bank.
At the inauguration ceremony, Francis called on Christians to "remember
the brothers and sisters" who are suffering from the tragedy of war in
Bethlehem and other parts of the world. "Enough war, enough violence!"
the Pope called out to the believers and guests from his wheelchair.
Among them was Ramzi Khouri, a member of the executive committee of the
"Palestinian Liberation Organization" (PLO), which organized the
nativity scene. Khouri conveyed "warm greetings" from Mahmoud Abbas, the
head of the Palestinian Authority. The PLO representative also expressed
"deep gratitude" for "the Pope's unwavering support for the Palestinian
cause and his tireless efforts to end the war against Gaza and bring
about justice."

I think Bob Harper would do a way better job as a pope, which is also
why I think he Should leave the catholic church ;)
