Adorno's dumb statement about how music can't be better than film

One of the dumbass things Adorno says, is that
film music cannot be better than the film:

"In principal film music cannot be better than
that which it accompanies", yet another dumb
thing the arrogant "critical theorist" says.

But since most Shostakovich film soundtracks are
for films that are unavailable to view it's
hard to directly verify in these cases.
