Have some compassion for the victims of dans abuse here, Frank.. You are
one of the victims as well — i believe you don’t Even realize this..
always being too lenient and forgiving.
This is suicidal empathy.
Dan is not the victim here; he is a victim of the narcissistic abuse of
his parents (and the antisemitism in this world), but this does Not give
him a pass to be an asshole. And you Frank Should Tell him this as well.
And not just in a superficial way, and being nice with him, but actually
trying to go into it a Bit deeper - trying to make him reflect on his
abusive behaviour. You are just enabling his abuse instead of Holding
him accountable — there have to be consequences for his behaviour…  this
is what real Friends would do; You Are just a babysitter
