But what is the CD box for?  More & more people interact with both
the music & textual information in digital format.  This is exactly
why you are seeing the attitude you are seeing.  You obviously don't
like it, but people in charge of these physical objects now are
trying to sell them to people who mostly *don't* view them as
practical objects in the first place!
