Perfect trip except last night. Got stuck in a bad storm
between Lincoln and Omaha in Nebraska and got hit with 2â€
hail.

Cracked windshield on the View and lots of other damage.
Bronco has dents in just about every panel on it. Terrible
way to end a great trip.
Oof, so sorry to hear this. And since I'm from that area it's
bothersome you weren't treated better. :(
Man, I feel for you, but look at the bright side - it didn't
happen at the beginning of the trip, and it'll probably never
happen again. Not only that, you didn't fall off the hogback
or have 2 flat tires in the boonies.
Sorry that happened to you. Not the best way to start or end a
trip but just like the storm, this too shall pass. In my many
years of travel we have experienced several unpleasant
situations. Of course that doesn’t make you feel better. After
the crying, swearing and outright disgust (BTDT) all you can
do is deal with it and look forward to the next adventure.
By the way, good luck with the insurance company.
Thanks to you both for the kind words. I know it will all work
out and am not going to let this stop me from RVing. Working
on getting it ready today for service. Once I get settled back
in to the home routine, I'll post about some of the interesting
things we did and learned on the trip.
We'll look forward to hearing about it. I'm especially glad you
didn't fall off the hogback. How sensible of you. (name that
movie)
