If you look at the track in the image below the yellow route is the one
we took this day, and the green track was the out and back to the Hole
In the Wall on day 2. As you can see it is completely different
geography with today's being more rugged.

FWIW, I couldn't open the pictures, getting a "You don't have
access" message. Maybe I waited too long.
Once you get to the bottom of it heading toward Big Water, the
scenery changes completely.
The constant dramatic differences in scenery as we traveled
through it was what impressed me the most about southern Utah.
Amazing.
Easy day on the knees, with brats and beans and a good campfire
to end the day. Back to hiking tomorrow in Kodachrome State
Park, a wonderful place!
