If you look at the track in the image below the yellow route is the one
we took this day, and the green track was the out and back to the Hole
In the Wall on day 2. As you can see it is completely different
geography with today's being more rugged.

FWIW, I couldn't open the pictures, getting a "You don't have
access" message. Maybe I waited too long.
That's odd. Anyone with the link should be able to access them. I just tried the one above and it popped right up.
Once you get to the bottom of it heading toward Big Water, the
scenery changes completely.
The constant dramatic differences in scenery as we traveled
through it was what impressed me the most about southern Utah.
Amazing.
Easy day on the knees, with brats and beans and a good campfire
to end the day. Back to hiking tomorrow in Kodachrome State
Park, a wonderful place!
Hoping we might get to read more about your trip!
I'm sorry, I had intended to keep going and have the different days pics already separated into their own folders. Just had a few lousy days and then got started doing the room remodel. I wasn't sure anyone was really bothering to read, I was a little depressed about the hail damage, and I guess just got a little lazy. I do intend on finishing off that amazing trip we took. Some great places still to share.
