Hello all.
Decided yesterday to sort out the old manual lenses that lurked in the
cupboard.
I think I must have got swept up in the mobile phone camera

Mobile phone cameras are crap.
My Takumar 55mm f1.8 is an excellent lens. I may take it for a walk.
Paul,
As with traditional cameras and lenses, you need to pay more for the
better quality ones!
Erm, I think I just contradicted that. The 60 year old Takumar cost
pennies and is great.

Obviously the auto wide open focussing won't work with an EOS mount, but I
can flick the switch on the lens.
