Or, more mundanely, the chap is on the phone to the utility company to get
the mains power supply reconnected, after a fault has tripped that supply.
Unfortunately the fault is at, or just beneath, the cabinet. If this is
the case, the fault is line side, before any protection within the
cabinet. If the fault was after the protection, there would have been a
bang, but it wouldn't have blown his pants off.
You can possibly tell I'm concerned about that event. We should try and
avoid similar incidents.
