Re: Olympic Rings aligned with LOVE2 -- an update

I heard them say in passing last night that the five Olympic rings are supposed to represent "the five continents because Europeans are taught North and South America are one continent." Which is strange because they also separate Europe from Asia. (This is minus Antartica of course which has never been represented.)
 There's always been a big controversy about the number of continents -- usually between 5 and 7. But as somebody on the web put it: "Continent is just an arbitrary term and there's no science behind it, you could say there were anywhere from 2 to 11 continents and I wouldn't call you crazy."
