 The Taliban are people, people from the very culture that they rule.
 The issue isn't that people don't care, the issue is that people are
over-the-top passionate about the wrong things.
 I personally unsubscribed back in 2016, though I was already disgusted
prior to that. But we went from people insisting that they were anti
fascist by violently suppressing people with opposing viewpoints to
left wing, pro abortion "activists" laboring hard to elect Donald Trump,
and overturn abortion rights, because they didn't like Hillary.

Yes, in the second post that I wrote, I wrote that Catholic church really does care. I also wanted to write that Talibans do care (I didn't write it because it would be repeating of the same, and slightly off the focus). Of course, everybody do care, scientists do care about their social status and their reputation. Nobody cares about the truth, though, at all. I became very sensible of it because I grew up surrounded by communist lies, and it was, actually, a matter of existence for me to figure out the real truth. But other than this special case, nobody else cares.
