I find that their search engine can be useful.
Google has been moving towards giving you only the results they want you to have for a long time.
Maybe Yandex has too.
With the two of them, and sometimes other search engines, you can sometimes get a more balanced picture.
Or not if you're influenced by nonsense.
Yes, the same with google maps,
sometimes I switch to using bing.maps as google maps is useless
then I wish I still had paper maps...
Google maps, and Earth, tend to randomly hide street names.
Indeed, even finding thingsin places I knew and lived can be a problem.
