All Trump needs to do is stand on his record and stick to the line: "was the economy
stronger under me or under Biden/Harris?"
Since the US - and the world's - economy took a big hit from Covid in the last year of Trump's presidency, and Trump's mismanagement of the US response to Covid-19 meant that the US took a bigger hit than it needed to, you have to be ax dim-witted as Trump to take that seriously.
Everyone knows the answer to that even if they won't admit it.

And it's about to get worse. The US economy is tanking
It isn't.
and a 50bp cut in rates is imminent to stave off the
inevitable recession.
The rate hikes have brought inflation back under control, and Fed seems to be on the verge of starting to cut them to allow the economy to start growing again.
Gross economic mis-management thanks to diaper Joe and his side-kick.
The rate hikes were imposed by the Fed, not the administration, and what the Biden administration has done seems to be fairly sensible - which is to say not what Trump would have done, because he isn't remotely sensible, any more than you are.
