A big brother to the 2N7000/7002. The IRLML2060 seems to fit the bill

I have AO3400 & 3401, about US$0.03 from AliExpress before India blocked
the site. But these are 4-5A devices with correspondingly higher Qg and
Ciss.
I need to switch about 1 amp at up to 80 volts into a resistive load,
preferably logic level gate, and board area is critical. A dpak is
kinda big. I wish some SOT23 could do it
I don't understand why anyone would bother to make a mosfet for 3
cents, or a diode for 1 cent, or a resistor for a tenth of a cent.
Those look like normal volume prices for comodity parts. There are
computer boards with few big chips and hundreds of small parts in
20-40$ range. How much small parts can cost if board maker and middle
mans make a profit?
