We can put two of these on our PCB for redundant power supplies,
instead of bolting two big metal things to the side of our box.

_Digikey_ wants me to disable my adblocker? Are they out of their
minds?
You're running software that breaks your browser and it's their fault?

Digikey has unwanted adverts? There's a couple of carousels on their
Home page promoting their services but that's about it for unprompted
adverts.

With what seems like a 300% mark-up they have no need to push adverts.
Some of their prices are OK, and some are 500x what is reasonable.
Some buyers, especially for the military, must have the exact part
that was originally used on some hunk of equipment. It looks like
people who have that part broker it through Digikey.
There is probably a business of scooping up all the stock of some
obscure part and then jacking up the price. Insider knowledge helps.
